MORE EVENTS

Welcome to The NEWBURY SOCIETY - dedicated to improving the environment of the attractive
and historic town of Newbury, Berkshire, UK.

The Newbury Society is a civic society affiliated to the Civic Trust,  and a registered charity (No. 1016770).
CIVIC TRUST MATTERS

Newbury, with a population of 35,000, is in the beautiful agricultural west of the Royal County of Berkshire.  It was a market town but has now attracted many high tech industries because of its  position in attractive countryside, its proximity to London Airport  and its good communications via the M4 and A34 roads.

The Society aims to improve the Newbury environment by preserving what is best and ensuring new developments are of a high quality:

  • We are proud of Newbury.

  • We want Newbury to be even better.

  • Why not join us? Please click here to download an application form.
